Kid’s Connection!
Kid’s Connection combines fun activities with Bible-based teaching for boys and girls in grades kindergarten through fourth grade. A combination of drama, games, and fun-filled songs capture attention while also showing them that living for God is the best thing out there.
Kid’s Connection meets every Sunday at 10:45 (except for the first Sunday of the month) during our regular Sunday morning worship celebration. Your child is invited to celebrate with us each week!
“Rise up, O Lord in all your power. With music and singing we celebrate your might acts.” Psalm 21:13
Your children are invited to join us for the opening praise and worship of our regular Sunday morning celebration. After praise and worship and videos and scripture readings, there will be an announcement made for the children to be dismissed for children’s church. At that time your kids can follow the rest of the children out of the sanctuary to our Kid’s Connection area. If it would make them or you feel better, you can walk out with them and help them get settled.
First Sunday Communion
On the first Sunday of every month, we keep the kindergarten through fourth graders in with us for the entire service and celebrate communion together. I know what you are thinking, “But my kids fuss and fidget after just a few minutes!” DON’T WORRY! OURS DO TOO!
You have probably heard the saying, “The family that prays together stays together.” Here at Valleyview Church of the Nazarene we also believe that, “The family that worships together stays together.”
Wednesday Nights @ 7:00
Our midweek Kid’s Connection is a mix of fun and teaching and varies on the time of year.
August – March is Bible Quizzing for 1st through 6th graders!
April – July is a brief lesson followed by everything from water games to pizza and a movie!
